  • India, the Middle East and Asia: most or all of the working day overlaps.
  • UK and Europe: your morning and early afternoon overlap with our afternoon.
  • North America: little natural overlap, so we agree a fixed weekly call time and work asynchronously in between.

India has one of the world’s largest pools of software engineers, English is the working language of the industry, and Indian working hours overlap well with Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The quality you get depends on the team, so evaluate the company, not the country.

Entirely remotely: a written proposal, a regular video call at a time that suits both sides, a shared project board, and a working release every two weeks. Sophon’s core hours are 10:00 to 19:00 IST, Monday to Saturday.
